Please join the Professional Educators of Corning Community College (PECCC, AFT/NEA/AFL-CIO) in showing your support for CCC workers and students on the evening of Thursday, September 22!
We call on the College administration to:
- Negotiate in good faith with the PECCC and all bargaining units.
- Reverse its policy of disinvestment in learning and teaching.
- Listen to the concerns of CCC employees, students, and community members on issues affecting student well-being, safety, and success.
Our rally will begin at 5:45 PM outside of the Commons building. After our rally we will head inside the Commons to attend a meeting of the Regional Board of Trustees, which begins at 6:15.
Special note for K-12 and college educators: before the rally, at 5:00, three NYSUT Directors, Rick Gallant, Andy Sako, and Kevin Peterman will hold an informational session in the CCC Library to meet with you and discuss educational and legislative issues of common concern.
