Students to Discuss Program and Faculty Cuts

On Thursday, March 19, SUNY Corning Community College student leaders will invite an open discussion about the college administration's announced cuts to academic programs and its termination of six faculty positions.

The forum, which will take place physically in the Kelly Lounge of the CCC Commons, will be livestreamed beginning at 12:15 using the Student Association Instagram account @corningcc_sa, allowing for other students and community members to hear students' perspectives on these critical issues despite the restrictions imposed on gatherings due to the COVID-12 outbreak.

Participating in the forum will be the following Student Assocation (SAGA) officers:
  • Brooke Muñoz-Halm, President
  • Tyler Hayden, Vice President
  • Trevor Prutsman, Activities Coordinator
  • Beka Page, Speaker of the Senate
  • Emily Leszyk, PR Director
  • Anna Moretti, Student Trustee
  • Leslie Card, Secretary
